We are looking for a scalehouse weigh master and ticketing clerk with superior customer service skills to print and provide weight tickets for loads of crushed stone and other construction material products from our quarry locations to commercial, industrial and residential jobsites through SW Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Print scale weight tickets and provide to customers and company drivers
- Obtain customer orders over the phone and in person and provide information to dispatcher or to Quarry loadout personnel
- Set up new customer accounts
- Enter and print customer tickets from ticketing software
- Daily dispatch report preparation
- Scalehouse housekeeping
Skills
- Proven working experience in the construction material supply or trucking/logistics industry a plus.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with computer data entry and ticketing software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office, MS Excel, GPS Mapping programs a plus
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
