The Fabrication Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to fabrication team members, offering guidance on complex fabrication tasks and problem-solving challenges. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the project management team to plan and schedule fabrication tasks to meet project deadlines.
Key Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience in Fabrication and pre-contract function.
- Experience of Shop Fabrication and Assembly Project Management role.
- Broad technical knowledge of fabrication/construction methods and equipment, engineering processes, and fabrication capabilities.
- Familiarity with estimating, supply chain, project controls, and contract commercial management.
- Knowledge of Commercial Contracting and Negotiation strategies.
- Proficient in MS Office Program.
- Familiarity with the Energy & Construction Industry preferred.
Working Conditions
The Fabrication Operations Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. They must be able to work extended hours and participate in late-night calls/reviews with other CB&I outfits.
