The Junior MDG Architect will support the Data Management Workstream Lead and Senior Master Data Governance Architect in data governance activities coordinating across the functional teams and with PMO/System Integrator.
Responsibilities:
- Support and contribute to source to target mapping.
- Support the profiling process with technical expertise and tool usage; builds data profiling rules based on the business rules collected by the data
- Familiar with Master Data Management (MDM) to support the implementation and optimization of MDM solutions to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across the new Master Data Governance.
- Familiar with data modeling and the ability to read and understand data models to validate business data requirements.
- Support the Senior Master Data Governance Architect to develop and maintain comprehensive master data documentation and provide training to program teams on completed work and architecture best practices.
- Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret security clearance required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing senior management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Experience supporting large-scale government ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, and/or PeopleSoft or similar integrated technology solutions)
- Experience supporting DoD clients (Army preferred)
- Must have SAP S/4HANA MDG solution knowledge/experience
- Experience facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Experience working remotely within a large project
- Familiarity with Agile principles and/or development projects
- Experience with federal financials and logistics data sets
- Supporting fielding operations for DoD clients
- SAP implementation experience preferred, ECC & SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with DoD data knowledge, Army data knowledge preferred
