Facilities Manager

DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the WFOR facility and all remote locations including the transmitter site. Responsibilities include coordinating and management of repairs and preventative maintenance and organization of all vendors, centralized purchasing, and billing for the facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise Security personnel and provide expectations and security protocols.
• Ensure that all building systems (air condition, electrical, generators, alarms, etc) are accurately maintained and kept in good working order.
• Work with outside vendors to handle any repairs and/or maintenance.
• Coordinate monthly inspection of the building to include fire safety, elevator, generators, UPS’s, and air conditioning maintenance.
• Supervise all outside building services contractors including cleaning crew, lawn maintenance, and air conditioning maintenance.
• Coordinate with department heads any office moves, reconfigurations, and modifications that include Manual labor, lifting, pulling, climbing, pushing, and moving heavy equipment.
• Purchase and distribute office supplies, equipment, printing supplies, etc.
• Coordinate mailroom operations.
• Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and Fire Safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years experience in building maintenance and operations.
• Must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, fire systems, plumbing, electrical, and pressure vessel codes, and regulations.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment and environmental control systems.
• A Valid Driver's License is required for the operation of company vehicles.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
