Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a team of bank support specialists, ensuring high performance and professional growth
- Mentor and train team members on retail banking systems, procedures, and troubleshooting methods
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging continuous learning
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of retail bank programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Provide expert knowledge on retail banking systems, assisting with updates, testing, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Retail and Operations teams to enhance system functionality and customer experience
- Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Lead your team as the primary point of contact for retail branch staff regarding account setup, system inquiries, and troubleshooting
- Specific knowledge about required documentation for account setup for individuals, businesses, and complex accounts
- Support local branches by providing guidance on bank policies, procedures, and technical issues
- Ensure timely resolution of escalated system and account-related concerns
- Develop and maintain documentation for training retail staff, creating the 'gold standard' in customer and account maintenance
- Experience and understanding of documentation required for examiners and auditors of an FDIC regulated institution
- Collaborative mindset, willing to work with multiple departments, such as Compliance, BSA, Retail Staff, Operations, Accounting, etc.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 5 years of experience in banking operations, support services, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of banking systems, account setup, and bank reporting programs
- Experience leading, mentoring, and training teams
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software platforms
- Experience with core banking systems and troubleshooting technical issues
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and banking industry standards
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
