Job DescriptionThe NAE Gospel Beauty & Breadth Creative Director is an exempt professional full-time position. The Creative Director works collaboratively with all NAE staff to help evangelicals foster thriving communities and navigate complexity with biblical clarity.The Creative Director will oversee creative projects of the NAE’s newly established Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project, a multifaceted endeavor to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality and healing.Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following : Qualifications
Personal and mature evangelical faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and LordAgreement to and affirmation of the
NAE Statement of Faith
and the NAE’s public policy document, “
For the Health of the Nation : An Evangelical Call to Civic ResponsibilityRegular attendance at an evangelical churchFamiliarity with and relationships in the evangelical communityMinimum of four years of professional experience (ministry or otherwise)Baccalaureate degree required, master’s degree preferredExperience with storytelling design, video and podcast production and editingAbility to collaborate with others to achieve project goalsSelf-starter and ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong relational and interpersonal skillsCareful attention to detailWillingness to work as part of a team and flexibility to adjust to needs of a growing organizationCapability and experience to fulfill responsibilities listed belowResponsibilities
Collaborates in planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of NAE efforts to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality and healingOversees all technical aspects of the project, including storytelling design, resource creation, and video and podcast production and editingWorks with NAE staff and partners to create and disseminate resources, develop programs and utilize various communication mediums to tell transformative storiesDevelops and implements, in partnership with communications team, a marketing strategy for project resourcesManages contractor relationshipsTravels for project creation and implementationOther responsibilities as assignedRelationships
The Creative Director reports to the Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project DirectorThe Creative Director works closely with Gospel Beauty & Breadth project staffThe Creative Director collaborates closely with the NAE Communications teamThe NAE is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
