About the Role:
CCG Technologies is a growing industrials controls company. We are seeking a highly qualified Safety Manager to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Your main objective will be to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace, and to develop and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. You will be a key member of our team, working closely with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
- 3 years of experience in safety management in the Oil and Gas industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience conducting safety audits and inspections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and computer skills
- Experience with ISNetworld is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification
- Experience with safety management systems
- Experience in oilfield safety
- DOT Drug and Alcohol test certified
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute new hire safety orientation and required training as needed
- Conduct monthly safety meetings, trainings, and review for employees
- Travel to job sites to conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
- Ensure that all safety policies and procedures within our handbook are reviewed and amended as needed to meet regulatory compliance
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
- Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Ensure and appropriate and adequate supply of PPE and tools for employees
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs, ISNET, NCMS, and Verizon accounts
- Manage the fleet vehicles with regular maintenance and inspections
- Manage all JSA's for completion and collect from all employees
- Oversee our drug and alcohol testing program
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical and Safety Requirements:
- Sitting, bending, standing, walking, talking, and typing
- Pass the required drug test and vehicle driving background
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to hear and communicate without hinderance
- The employee must be adaptable to the unique working conditions that consist of long and irregular hours and changes in locations of work assignments. This position requires working in an office setting most of the time with occasional site visits where the conditions consist of wet, cold, hot and/or humid conditions at work sites, working near moving mechanical parts, vibration, loud noise, potential of fumes or airborne particles where proper PPE must be worn
Skills:
As a Safety Manager, you will utilize your expertise in Accident Investigation, Occupational Health, Safety Management Systems, Safety Training, Site Safety, Safety Audits, Oilfield Safety, and Safety Programs to ensure the safety of our employees and maintain compliance with all safety regulations. You will work closely with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and develop and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in providing safety training to employees and management on a regular basis, and in investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
