Remote Medical Specialist is teaming up with CE Medical Group, a trusted leader in the healthcare consulting for over the past 18 years. We're looking for an full time experienced Medical Operations Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong background in medical office operations and enjoy training and supporting others, this could be the perfect fit. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that help our team effectively handle insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and patient intake procedures. You'll also be a key resource in ensuring that our staff is equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Onboarding: Create and lead training programs on insurance verification, prior authorization, and front-desk operations to ensure the team is well-prepared to handle patient intake and insurance processes efficiently.
- Ongoing Support: Provide continuous education and guidance on new insurance policies, authorization requirements, and any regulatory updates, ensuring the team stays informed and compliant.
- Staff Development: Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring they are confident and well-versed in the essential operations of our medical office.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department managers and team leads to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives that address those areas.
- Problem-Solving: Offer support and troubleshooting for more complex issues that arise, providing the team with clear solutions and enhancing their ability to navigate challenging cases.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or medical office operations. Experience as a trainer or educator in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of insurance verification, prior authorization protocols, and medical reception procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple training sessions and projects efficiently.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with medical office software, electronic health records (EHR), and insurance verification systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex processes and procedures.
- Supportive: A patient and approachable attitude, focused on creating a positive learning experience and helping others succeed.
