What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at The Front Climbing Club?
SUMMARY //
The Operations Coordinator plays an integral role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of company tools and processes. This will include process concept development, maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developing and administering trainings, conducting audits, and reviewing feedback to support the Operations Department. They work closely with all departments to ensure that processes are effective and consistently utilized across both The Front Climbing Club and Vertical Solutions.

The Front Climbing Club was Utah's first indoor rock-climbing gym, and one of the first in the nation. From its humble beginnings as The Body Shop back in the 80's to three best-in-class facilities today, The Front has never lost its soul or connection to its roots.
RESPONSIBILITIES //
- Contribute to the identification, development, and maintenance of Company Objectives and Key Results
- Assist with identification, development, and implementation of company tools and processes
- Maintain resources for Agile Planning, Project Management Systems, and all other company tools and processes, including SharePoint sites, Excel workbooks, SOPs, audit criteria, training outlines, swimlanes, and other checklists
- Assist with facilitation of the Project Management System and Agile Planning Process for the company, departments, and project teams
- Schedule and facilitate meetings and ensure detailed notes and action items are captured and distributed
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires and current staff on Agile Planning, Project Management Systems, and other company tools and processes
- Audit adherence to company tools & processes, including but not limited to Microsoft Business Suite Applications, Azure DevOps, Agile Planning, and Project Management Systems
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring related to Agile Planning, Project Management Systems, and other company tools and processes as relevant for the company, departments and/or individuals
- Utilize surveys and other feedback to identify adjustments or areas for improvement and implement them as relevant
- Ensure a high level of customer care by maintaining a friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Consistently seeking ways to improve the customer experience by anticipating and addressing the needs of guests
- Other duties and projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS //
- Bachelor's degree in business management, or another relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the workforce
- Minimum of 1-2 years business operations experience
- Project management, change management, and Agile Methodology experience preferred
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Business Suite products preferred
- Passion for developing and implementing operational checklists to ensure consistency, efficiency, and organization
- Superior communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience, recognizing that customer satisfaction is a company-wide effort
- Proven ability to prioritize customer needs while decision-making and problem-solving to ensure a positive experience

WORKING ENVIRONMENT //
The typical working environment for the Operations Coordinator is a dynamic, office-based setting at the SLC Gym with the Accounting, Leadership, and Operations Departments, however the role does occasionally require working at multiple FCC and VS locations in the Salt Lake Valley. They work closely with the Leadership team and interact with various departments and employees, requiring frequent communication and collaboration across teams. The role involves managing multiple priorities simultaneously while adhering to identified deadlines.
SALARY RANGE //
This position is listed at $50,000 - 60,000 annual, depending on experience
