Job Description: Cedar Pet Supply is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Manager to join our team. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring the success of our store. This position requires someone with a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for exotic pets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a small team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Train and coach sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback to team members to optimize their performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient store operations and seamless customer experiences.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and industry trends to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for exotic pets and knowledge of exotic pet products is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Computer savvy.
