Responsibilities for building maintenance
Manage all outside services used to maintain functionality of business, including but not limited, to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and fire protection services.
Preform general building maintenance such as changing light bulbs (basic electrical issues), repairing doors, light plumbing.
Perform HVAC preventive maintenance duties including changing filters, lubrication of motors, drive systems, cleaning coils, changing of belts, replacement of pumps and motors.
Assisting in ordering parts, and supplies for building maintenance.
Monthly generator checks and service.
Safety checks for lighting; emergent and safety.
Rooftop exhaust fan checks.
Outlet checks.
Vacuum pump checks.
Ensure that gutters are cleaned and maintained.
Upkeep and maintain our life safety record book.
Keep a detailed record of completed maintenance tasks.
Qualifications for building maintenance
Experience working in a Construction / Maintenance Service environment.
Must have excellent work history including proven dependability.
Manual dexterity, good eyesight, and hand-eye coordination, can lift 50 plus pounds, can climb up and down a ladder.
Basic knowledge of commercial generators.
Hours
Will do all monthly checks on the first Wednesday of the month. Can negotiate day to accommodate your schedule. Must be available for projects/repairs when needed.
