Scientist in Training - Burda Lab

Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks, including:

• Designing and conducting experiments to investigate glial responses to CNS injuries and disorders
• Analyzing data and interpreting results in collaboration with the Principal Investigator
• Collaborating with other researchers to develop new research techniques and protocols
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of experiments and results
• Presenting research findings at conferences and workshops

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Doctorate degree in an area related to the field of research specialization, such as neuroscience or a related field. Experience with rodent surgery, disease modeling, and molecular biology techniques is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in R and/or Python programming languages and light microscopy is preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
