Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that address complex business challenges. You will collaborate closely with internal clients and Architecture Practice teams to develop scalable and sustainable solutions that align with strategic goals.
This position requires 10 years of experience and will be part of the Disney Signature Experience team, which includes NatGeo, Disney Cruise Line (DCL), Disney Vacation Club (DVC), and Adventures by Disney businesses. As a Solution Architect, you will work alongside internal development and project management teams to create solutions that effectively meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Work with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs. Develop technical specifications and blueprints.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Assess and recommend technologies and tools that align with project needs.
- System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of systems, components, and third-party applications to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
- Scalability and Performance: Ensure that solutions are designed for scalability and optimized for performance. Enhance existing systems to improve efficiency.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Address vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for architecture, design, and development processes to support knowledge transfer and communication.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring the adoption of architectural best practices.
- Client Collaboration: Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solution Validation: Continuously validate solutions to ensure they meet evolving business requirements and make necessary adjustments.
Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable and sustainable solutions in complex business environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
