The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems – maintaining and repairing
- Troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems – maintaining and repairing motors, controllers, PLC’s, VFD's, electrical systems, automated systems, instrumentation devices, routine calibrations etc.
- Works safety at all times and intervene to ensure the safety of others
- Resolves issues in instrumentation and electrical equipment
- Follows policies and procedures of Process Safety Management requirements
- Education: BS. or A.A.S. degree in instrumentation
- Entry level position requiring only the degree and the ability to pass the written and hands on testing
- Direct experience a plus
- SAP knowledge and experience a plus
- Working knowledge of PLC’s, a plus
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, a plus
- VFD – Variable Frequency Drives experience a plus
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate instrumentation and electrical competencies
