Location: Central Office

Reports To: Outreach Lead

Summary of Role

Oversee and coordinate centralized initiatives and logistics of Local Outreach efforts for implementation across Celebration Church campuses

Position Status & Schedule

• Non-Exempt, Hourly
• Full-time (40 hours)
• Monday through Friday; hours vary dependent on events scheduled, includes some weekends/evenings
• Christmas, Easter, and Dream Team Appreciation service dates and times are black out days for time off. Other events (Serve Days and churchwide Outreach days) may be required outside of your regular schedule; you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Leadership

• Communicate information regarding churchwide outreach initiatives and ensure campuses are resourced for those efforts
• Collaborate & strategize with campus leadership to ensure a consistent presence across the community
• Coordinate with campus staff to ensure Outreach-related processes are being promoted, processed, and followed-up on in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on the ongoing growth of local outreach structures churchwide, SERVE Saturdays, Prison Teams, and Missions Teams
• Represent the Outreach staff team at on-and off-campus events and activities
• Build leadership teams within the scope of outreach department
• Assist with leadership training and development across all outreach areas.

Coordination

• Communicate to campus teams on upcoming projects/events
• Assist Campus Locations with support, structure, and resources
• Partner with campus leads in coordinating projects, church-wide campaigns, and team structure
• Create and distribute training materials to resource campuses to train Outreach Leaders and participants
• Develop, implement, and utilize processes that support local outreach activities across campuses
• Equip campuses with communication and resources for their outreach needs
• Coordinate churchwide Outreach campaigns and initiatives
• Ensure Outreach Leaders are supported and cared for at campuses
• Assist with all Outreach areas: Serve Saturday, Correctional Facilities, Disaster Relief, Missions
• Be part of an internal Disaster Relief staff team in the event of national and local Disaster Relief efforts

Administrative

• Responsible for central Outreach workflows in Rock Contact Management System
• Oversee the organization, inventory, and maintenance of Outreach equipment and spaces
• Maintain churchwide Outreach calendar
• Maintain Serve app usability, accuracy of projects, and update information
• Monitor and maintain the Outreach email account
• Maintain data and metrics for ministry events, activities, and gatherings; includes attendance, leader lists, attendee, or Dream Team data within the church database, etc.
• Point of contact for missions trips administrative questions (for staff and travelers)

Financial

• Utilize purchasing processes for approval, ordering, and payment of services and items needed
• Enter expenses into applicable system and maintain up-to-date expense reports
• Assist in managing all Outreach budgets, ensuring resources are stewarded wisely
• Work with campus staff on budgeting for Outreach initiatives at various campus locations

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of administrative/coordination experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience: professional or volunteer
• Prior serve experience: volunteering, leading, organizing outreach projects/missions trips preferred
• Bilingual a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 40% of the time.
• Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office and Church facility.
• Must be able to position self to maintain supplies and equipment on lower shelves and in closets.
• Frequently move supplies and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
• Constantly work in an open office environment
• Constantly work outside in various climates and temperatures
