Direct Care Professional at Behavior Focused Group Home Every other Weekend

Celebration Group Homes Inc. in Grand Ridge, FL is looking for a direct care professional to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

This position is at one of our adult male behavior focused group homes. This home has adults with significant behaviors including elopement, verbal aggression, physical aggression and property destruction. These positions require able bodied individuals who are able to react appropriately when the individuals in the home are eloping or showing physical aggression, this will include being able to do approved restraints. The applicant must also have the heart to work with individuals with these types of behaviors.

We have one full time position available:

• Part time- Every other Weekend NIGHTS position. The hours are 7pm-7am. This position pays $15/hour. If you are scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday, you will make $1.00 over your regular pay rate for those days.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to patients in day to day activities
• Communicate with management about patients health or issues that may arise
• Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable experience working with people with developmental disabilities, children or the elderly.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs
• High attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
