Team Leader at Behavior Focused Group Home

Celebration Group Homes has a Team Leader position available. This position involves leadership as well as direct care. Direct Care involves providing care for individuals who need assistance with their daily living skills. This home has individuals with significant behaviors including elopement, verbal aggression, physical aggression, and property destruction. These positions require able bodied individuals who are able to react appropriately when the individuals in the home are eloping or showing physical aggression, this will include being able to do approved restraints. You will receive full training on approved techniques. The applicant must also have the heart to work with individuals with these types of behaviors.

Team Leader: 2-2-3 Schedule For example, you would work Monday and Tuesday, be off Wednesday and Thursday and work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The next week you would be off two (Monday and Tuesday), work two (Wednesday and Thursday) and be off three (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The hours are 7a-7p & 7p-7a and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 7am-7pm. We ask that the candidate be flexible and able to be called in case of emergencies. (For example, if there is a severe behavior event and the Team Leader has already left for the day, a team member may need to call the Team Leader to come in for further assistance with the behavior or may be needed to cover a shift.) Pay is $17/hr. If you are scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday, you will make $1.00 over your regular pay rate for Saturdays and Sundays.

-Minimum Age: 25 years (state required).

-At least 1 year work experience working with people with developmental disabilities, childcare, or healthcare.
