ServiceNow Technical Lead Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled ServiceNow Technical Lead/Architect to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in leading our ServiceNow initiatives, providing technical expertise, and guiding a team of ServiceNow resources. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, extensive experience in ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, and ITAM, and a proven track record of successfully leading complex ServiceNow implementations. You will be responsible for designing and architecting robust ServiceNow solutions, mentoring development teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Manage and provide technical guidance to a team of ServiceNow resources, ensuring efficient implementation, integration, data transfer, support, and development of enhancements.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
ServiceNow Solution Design & Architecture:
Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations, aligning with client needs and industry best practices.
Develop and administer technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to address diverse business needs.
Design and implement scoped applications within the ServiceNow platform.
Implementation & Configuration:
Lead multiple ServiceNow implementation projects across various modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM), including a complete implementation lifecycle.
Configure robust solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform, employing best practice web programming techniques.
Perform ServiceNow Discovery Configuration.
Convert Business Requirements into Technical Solutions.
Technical Expertise & Development:
Apply innovative technology to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues within the ServiceNow platform.
Utilize strong web programming skills, specifically JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS, to configure and enhance ServiceNow solutions.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow custom applications.
Develop Integration Solutions.
Perform Architecture level configurations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate closely with business analysts, process leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Provide clear and concise status reports to project managers.
Advise on options, risks, and impacts on business/ITIL processes.
Possess strong customer service and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Stay abreast of ServiceNow platform advancements and emerging trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Perform assessments and evaluations of existing ServiceNow implementations, offering recommendations for optimization.
Understand full ITSM application lifecycle.
ITIL & Best Practices:
Apply knowledge of ITIL Process Definition to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
ITIL certification desired.
Required Skills & Experience:
10 years of experience in administration, implementation, and configuration of ITSM solutions in medium to large organizations.
5-8 years of hands-on experience in administration, implementation, and configuration of ServiceNow in the areas of ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, and ITAM, and scoped application solutions.
Proven experience leading multiple ServiceNow implementation projects, including a complete implementation lifecycle.
Extensive experience in ServiceNow custom application design and development.
Strong understanding of ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, and Architecture level configurations.
Proficiency in web programming languages, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery Configuration.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Experience with industry-leading ITSM tools.
