Tower Climber Top Hand (Tower Technician III) requires being knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of running the tower top and bottom, with attention to all jobs being completed safely, quickly, accurately, and efficiently. This position will install, inspect, or maintain tower sites as required by various client requests. The position’s mission is accomplished through the performance of some or all of the following functions or tasks: Skills and Experience: - Climb towers to lead in installing, replacing, and troubleshooting wireless equipment based on direction from Foreman and Construction Manager. - Perform all tasks in a safe manner, ensuring the safety of self and crew by adhering to work practices outlined in the Health & Safety Manual; - Lead by example, demonstrating an attitude of safety, cost control, asset management, and professionalism to all in direct supervision; - Manage, inspect, and maintain personal protective equipment, including climbing harness, protective headgear, climbing devices, and necessary safety equipment, and complete daily log; - Daily preparation and planning to enable efficient travel to sites and performance of duties at sites; - Manage assets/equipment such as a vehicle, phone, computer, camera, harness, and safety equipment; - Utilize email and telephone as preferred means of corporate communication; Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of current experience in conducting similar like type work. - Willingness to travel 100% of the time. - Able to successfully complete the pre-employment process (Background Check, Drug Test, and clean MVR driving record). - Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds regularly unassisted. - Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. - Availability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on a 24-hour basis. - Must possess a COM TRAIN License. - OSHA 10/30 License preferred. - Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Current Com Train or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification Required. - Prior experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Email.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
