Job Summary:
Performs routine basic maintenance duties ensuring the facility is operating in its best state to fully execute clinical trials.
Compensation: $22.50-25.00/hr
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs basic maintenance repairs within the facility including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry.
- Conducts preventative maintenance to ensure facility operates without interruption.
- Maintains the grounds of the facility to include yard work.
- Communicates with various contractors to conduct specialized work or if a licensed professional is needed.
- Maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of the facility by doing regular checks and waste management.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all inclusive.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Motivated to work consistently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to use various types of hand and motorized tools for repairs.
Working Conditions
- Indoor, Clinic/Office environment.
- Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, walking.
- Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
