Join Cenovus Energy as a Downstream Reforming Process Technology subject matter expert, you will be the recognized technical authority in Catalytic Reforming within our downstream business. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to improve process safety, reliability, and profitability—delivering sustainable, cost-effective solutions and driving up to $100M/year in value through reduced losses, optimized spend, and streamlined turnarounds. We are seeking an exceptionally skilled individual to successfully implement advanced technologies and lead our team towards world-class performance. Preference to individuals who currently reside or can relocate to Dublin, OH, or any of the US Cenovus Refineries. (Lima, OH; Toledo, OH; Superior, WI)

What you’ll do:
- Develop and improve technology plans for Catalytic Reforming, Isomerization, and light ends unit processing.
- Identify and implement improvements to process safety, compliance, and reliability.
- Lead and develop the Community of Practice for Catalytic Reforming, promoting consistent practices and adherence to engineering standards.
- Provide technical assurance and support on projects, including troubleshooting and developing monitoring tools.
- Train and mentor technical resources, ensuring they understand unit operations and associated risks.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new refinery technologies.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering
- Professional Certification or License in Engineering
- 20 years of downstream unit operations and technical experience
- 5 years of experience in the area of expertise applied for
- Proven knowledge of similar unit operations at multiple facilities
- Strong technical training in unit-specific operations in the area of expertise
