What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement a technology plan for downstream electrical systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship on electrical area classification, collaborating with process technology SMEs.
- Identify and complete improvement opportunities in our electrical infrastructure and maintenance practices.
- Lead the Community of Practice to improve knowledge, standardize practices, and adhere to engineering standards.
- Mentor and develop technical resources, providing troubleshooting support and standardized monitoring tools.
- Coordinate technical training programs for engineers and technicians, focusing on operational risks and safety.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Professional Certification or License in Engineering
- 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within downstream refining or large coordinated facilities
- 5 years of experience in project design work on electrical engineering systems, including medium and high voltage systems
- Technical training in unit-specific operations from recognized institutions (e.g., IEEE, IET, NICET, OSHA)
