Position Overview
The Director of Educational Services implements strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures as developed by the Board, Executive Director/CEO. The Director of Educational Services provides direction and leadership to the school, teachers and staff in the consistent achievement of the school's philosophy, mission, pillars, strategy and goals.
Education/Experience
Master’s degree in special education required, Doctorate preferred, dual certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analysts/LABA and or Doctorate preferred, from an accredited college/university. Experience administering an applied behavior analysis, ABA, school-based program for children with disabilities, specifically children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder. Education in learning disabilities such as behavioral management techniques, curriculum modification, discrete trial, direct instruction, and task analysis; specific techniques in working with students with significant behavioral difficulties impacting their learning.
Certificates and Licenses
Possess a professional teaching license in Special Education.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervision of all educational departments of the school and supplemental staff; is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Development of department policy and procedures, standard operating procedures and supportive documents, oversight of Individual Education Plans, IEPs, accompanying lesson plans and data collection. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
