Job Summary:
The Program Manager (PM) will adhere to the above mission statement while supporting youth and/or adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the scope of assigned responsibilities. This is a full time, on-site position, working directly with the staff and individuals receiving support within the residential group home/program.
The position requires independent decision making; the ability to interact with others in a professional manner; knowledge of the Individual Support Planning (ISP) process and documents; knowledge of wage and hour laws; knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR); and highly developed organizational skills.
Program Manager will be responsible for the operations of:
(1) Children's or Adult's program/group home - starting wage range $26.25/hr

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 20 years of age (to qualify as agency driver) and hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license, have a good driving record and have reliable and efficient means of traveling between program sites and administrative office.
- At least two years of verifiable experience in an I/DD residential setting or equivalent.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen (includes THC) and a background check.
- No founded reports of child abuse or substantiated abuse of adults.
- Adept at/comfortable with frequent computer usage.
- Command of the English language (i.e., writing, reading, and speaking) and be able to communicate/respond on the event of an emergency.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
All CCI employees are Mandatory Abuse Reporters and MUST report ALL incidents of actual and/or suspected abuse to the Abuse Hotline as trained.
- The Program Manager is responsible for the overall operations of (1) of CCI's children's or adult's group homes (i.e. programs).
- Provides direct supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSP) as well as Lead DSPs.
- Schedules staff and ensures appropriate resident supervision is available at all times in assigned CCI, Inc. program.
- Provides staff training as needed.
- Maintains, in conjunction with Lead DSPs, emergency on-call coverage 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
- Responsible for ensuring program compliance with OAR, federal, state and local laws and contractual obligations of the corporation.
- Responsible for management of program and resident cash as well as resident bank accounts.
- Ensures the administration of medications, etc. as prescribed by physician or medical personnel.
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with home skills, such as preparing meals, housekeeping, and laundry
- Utilization of Therap software for resident record keeping (T-logs, General Event Reports-GERS, data tracking, etc.) and Kronos Workforce software for purposes of personal timekeeping.
- Assists with the development of resident Individual Support Plans (ISP) and ensures all program personnel receive appropriate training on plans. Ensures proper implementation of ISPs occurs within required timelines.
- Provides input to the Behavior Professional (BP) for the development of Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP). Ensures all personnel receive appropriate training on plans and monitors proper implementation.
- Facilitates the scheduling of all resident medical, dental, optical, counseling, etc. appointments and supports residents in attending appointments.
- Adheres to all CCI policies and procedures.
- The PM will accept other duties as assigned by the Administration of CCI.
Work Conditions:
PMs at CCI experience a variety of working conditions based on the task at hand. Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time may be expected. The PM will be expected to provide frontline services as needed. CCI serves, both children and adults diagnosed with a variety of Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health Disorders, and Medical Conditions. Employees may encounter a variety of behaviors such as, hitting, kicking, scratching, biting, choking, hair pulling, throwing objects, etc. Residents may also experience severe self-injury, suicidal ideation, severe property aggression and unsafe use of flammable materials as a means by which they express themselves. Working conditions may also include stooping, twisting, reaching, walking and standing. Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs. may be necessary.

- Our shifts run 7am-3pm (Day), 3pm-11pm (Swing), and 11pm-7am (Graveyard). While the Program Manager's schedule is often Day shift Monday-Friday, having availability for all shifts (including weekends) is necessary due to the on-call nature of the position.
