**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technologist to join our team at the Center For Diagnostic Imaging. This is a full-time position that requires leadership and management skills, as well as technical expertise in radiology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal policies, and maintaining positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic procedures, patient care, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Screens patients before examination for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
- Performs routine and advanced radiologic procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury with minimal supervision.
- Explains and prepares patients for procedures, providing support throughout.
- Accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Adjusts scan parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
- Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations.
- Produces diagnostic images and performs quality control tasks as assigned.
- Maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians.
- Remains self-motivated to increase understanding and knowledge of the field.
- Maintains equipment and ensures an orderly work area.
- Promotes good customer relations with patients and staff.
Requirements:
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
- Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Advanced modality certification preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
