Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination within our medical office environment. This position requires strong administrative skills, familiarity with medical documentation, and the ability to manage patient appointments effectively. The Scheduler will be responsible for supporting patient services and maintaining accurate records while adhering to best practices in healthcare scheduling.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments for procedure at ASC and hospitals, ensuring optimal scheduling for both patients and providers.
- Review documentation related to patient care plans and ensured all necessary information is accurately provided to patients and facility and documented
- Utilize EHR for scheduling and managing patient records efficiently.
- Maintain with ICD-10 coding standards during the scheduling process.
- File and organize patient records, ensuring that all documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Provide exceptional patient service and care by addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly for patient and provider
Experience
- Previous experience in scheduling role within a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with EHR systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, care plans, and documentation review processes is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
