What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Manager- CT position at Center for Human Development?
The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an Administrative Manager to join our team at Adult Mental Health Connecticut. The Administrative Manager works within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers. They supervise the administrative assistant and provide clerical as well as office management to a multi-faceted, community-based program serving clients in need of psychiatric services.
Your role as the Administrative Manager:
The Administrative Manager is responsible for performing timely response to or coordination of all support requests such as:
- Travel to various CHD CT main offices, Waterbury and Hartford (as well as Torrington occasionally)
- Supervises Administrative Assistants to ensure following tasks are completed, accurate and on time
- Answer phones, type and file documents, take meeting minutes, maintain records, manage vendor invoices, and provide regular reports
- Managing office supplies inventory and overseeing petty cash reimbursements and deposits
- Attending to maintenance of office equipment (e.g., copy machines, printers, scanners)
- Maintaining proper filing systems and ensuring all records are organized
REQUIRMENTS:
- High school Diploma
- Basic administrative skills with prior experience
- 2 year business school degree or bachelor’s degree in related field
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid driver’s license and a vehicle for business purpose

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
- Alternating between the Waterbury and Hartford main offices
