What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Consultant (Sourcing Specialist) position at Centra Medical Group?
The Talent Acquisition partners with hiring managers to plan effective recruitment efforts that result in hiring the best fit/top candidate. Efforts will include sourcing for candidates; processing all recruitment-related paperwork; and partnering with Centra Talent Management and department leaders to assist in validation of competencies matching Centra staffing needs.
Required Education: High School Diploma / GED
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related fields
Required Experience: 1-3 years of recruiting or human resources experience. Excellent telephone presence. Abilities in leadership skills, self-direction and motivation. Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written to all levels of staff and leadership. Skilled user of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience: Previous healthcare recruiting experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to source and recruit candidates. Knowledge of U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), U.S. Department of Labor's Affirmative Action
Recruits for all open positions for assigned client area(s) by consulting with leadership to develop strategies involving cost effective solicitation of qualified applications
Consults with hiring managers to understand the department/units business to facilitate proper referrals from the application pool
Leverages internet based technology, talent pipeline, databases, and other tools/events in order to actively source for candidates
Reviews and screens applicant materials; recommends and refers top candidates to hiring manager for consideration
Corresponds with and informs candidates of their application status
Markets Centra as an employer of choice at recruitment and community events
Reviews turn over report data and consult with manager on root cause analysis
Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
Completes hiring process and coordinates on-boarding procedures with HR Operations
Informs and educates new hires about on-boarding and orientation activities
Coordinates with HR Marketing for any necessary recruitment-related communications
Conducts research, presents, and/or implements new or current trends/strategies related to workforce development and healthcare staffing issues with the Talent Acquisition Team, hiring managers, and/or other impacted staff
Coordinates with Compensation Analyst for salary quotes
Demonstrates an awareness of appropriate confidentiality rules and regulations and acts accordingly
Other duties as assigned
