What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Central Florida Veterinary Hospital?
We are a fast paced, family owned, small animal practice. There are endless opportunities to learn at our practice, so experience is appreciated but not a requirement. Veterinary Technicians play a very important role in making sure our patient care is the best it can be. That being said, we are looking for candidates that exhibit responsibility and great work ethic. As a veterinary technician, you can expect to be very hands on with the patients. Some of the tasks you will perform in this position are:
- Blood draws, placing IV catheters, giving injections (all routes)
- Capturing radiographs
- Diagnostic testing
- Getting thorough history on patients, intaking and discharging patients
- Communicating with clients
Pay may vary based on experience and workmanship.
