What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Operating Officer position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides leadership and direction, in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, to advance the strategic goals of the organization and other CPH markets, (i.e., physician clinics, partnerships with other community healthcare providers, etc.) The COO helps ensure the delivery of quality, cost-effective health care services that respond to community needs and fulfill the CPH Mission, Vision and Values Philosophy.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business and seven years of leadership experience with at least five of experience being in a director or executive level position in an acute care hospital or medical center setting. MBA and Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives or Certified Health Care Executive (CHE) preferred.
