Job Description

Central States Commercial Roofing is excited to announce a career opportunity in our dynamic and fast-paced team as we seek an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales professional. This full-time, on-site position presents a rewarding challenge for an individual adept at sales and keen on pursuing a remarkable journey in the commercial roofing industry. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional eager to drive business growth through proactive client engagement and strategic sales initiatives in the competitive roofing market.

As a key component of our sales team, the successful candidate will not only contribute to achieving sales targets but also play a crucial role in strengthening client relationships and building our market presence. This position is not remote, requiring the individual's presence in various locations to assess client needs directly, ensuring precision in service delivery and client satisfaction.  Sales comp plan will be discussed in detail in the interview.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to evaluate their roofing needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments of client’s roofs to gather necessary information for accurate quotes and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Execute strategic cold calling and lead generation activities to maximize business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective and individual sales targets.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and sales contracts to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual benefit.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, technological developments, and competitors’ activities within the roofing industry.
  • Attend industry-related workshops, seminars, and conventions to expand professional network and enhance expertise.
  • Provide feedback from clients to enhance service offerings and address any potential issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in commercial roofing or related industry.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to read people and respond appropriately to their needs.
  • Resilience and thick skin to handle objections and rejections effectively.
  • Not afraid of heights, as the role involves inspecting roofs and potentially high places.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office; ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
