Duties for This Position
As a Unit Clerk you will work under the direction of the Nurse Administrator, Nursing Supervisor, and/or the Charge Nurse. The Unit Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties associated with patient care operations. The Unit Clerk facilitates communication within the nursing unit, assists in entering information into the Order Entry System and is responsible for the smooth operation of all clerical functions within the department.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
C.N.A. Certification Preferred
Experience
One year experience preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of medical office procedures and processes. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
