What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Coach position at Centria Autism?
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Development Coach to join our team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and families affected by autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, and communicate with stakeholders.
As a Child Development Coach, you will adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors to provide optimal support to your assigned child. You will also partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for helping children with autism, patience and compassion, and the ability to work well in a team environment. A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age are required, as well as the ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test. A minimum of one year experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare or classroom setting is preferred.
