Job Title: Nurse Supervisor - House (Nursing)
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Pay Rate: $68/hr
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift Type: 12 hour Nights; 7pm-7am
"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 60 miles from the facility."
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Supervision: Oversee and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants, ensuring they provide appropriate and effective patient care.
- Patient Care Coordination: Ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care, including monitoring patient conditions, managing admissions and discharges, and addressing any patient care concerns.
- Resource Management: Allocate nursing resources effectively, including managing staffing levels, adjusting schedules as needed, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
