Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Provide light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Assist with mobility, including transferring clients from bed to wheelchair and ensuring safe movement
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and safety regulations
- Document care and activities accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified HHA training program
- Required certifications- Home Health Aide and BLS.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility
- Flexibility and reliability in scheduling
- Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, or similar role is preferred
- Experience working with elderly or disabled patients is a plus
