The newest property is an exclusive, elegant space that provides guests with the highest level of service and hospitality. The Dinex Group is looking for professional Assistant Captains.
This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals looking to advance their career. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the fundamentals of fine dining, wine and service standards as well as a professional demeanor and, most importantly, the desire to learn and potential for growth in the company. A hospitality or culinary degree is preferred, but not required.
The Assistant Captain is responsible for preparing the dining room for service, table maintenance and contributing to the general flow of the restaurant. They should have the ability to provide the highest standard of service, superior communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume environment.
Ideal Candidates should have the following:
- 2 or more years of New York fine dining restaurant experience, private club or its equivalent as a Assistant Captain, Servers assistant, Runner or Back waiter
- Desire and dedication to offer premier fine dining experience
- Food and Beverage knowledge
