We are seeking a HR Generalist to support our Human Resources department with a focus on Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, HR Operations, and Compliance. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional who is passionate about training initiatives and creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development:
- Develop and implement employee training programs, including leadership development, technical training, and soft skills workshops.
- Coordinate job-specific certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Organize safety training in collaboration with the Safety Department.
- Create training materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and feedback.
Employee Engagement & Recruitment:
- Support onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of new hires.
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Organize company events, town halls, and internal communication initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback to improve retention strategies.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Maintain and update employee records, training logs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in performance management processes, including scheduling reviews and tracking progress.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Manage employee badging, including issuance, renewals, and replacements.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and assist employees with workplace concerns.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably with a focus on training, learning & development, or employee engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
