Electronic Assembler/Solderer-Printed Circuit Board (FT)
Duties
Century Electronics is a designer and manufacturer of Mil-Spec and COTS power solutions for virtually every branch of the military , including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, providing custom Power Supplies, Converters and Inverters.
Duties
- To assemble entire products or components.
- Solder to IPC-J-STD-001 electro-mechanical assembly on through-hole and surface mount components.
- Read Worksheets and wiring diagrams, receive verbal instructions, follow sample board to determine assembly duties, and select components (transistors, resistors, relays, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
- Place plastic isolating sleeves around specific wire leads and clinch wire ends.
- Crimp wire leads.
- Twist, bend, trim, strip, or file wire leads of component.
- Install heat sinks, sockets, faceplates, and accessories on boards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Read and Write English.
- Good math and analytical skills.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work for 10-hour shifts per week, Monday-Thursday.
