We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of projects, researching and analyzing data, and providing detailed reports on project costs. The ideal candidate should have a background in project management and a strong understanding of the steel industry. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work.
- Develop accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Prepare cost estimates for various stages of a project.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Work with the shop team to ensure that all cost estimates are accurate and complete.
- Monitor changes in scope and adjust estimates accordingly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.24 - $32.86 per hour
