Job Overview
CBB is seeking dedicated and skilled Culinary supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, passion for food, commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality and has been in a leadership role in the past. Mentoring and holding others accountabile in a positive way is a must. Eagerly takes full ownership and is committed to growing themselves and our restaurant is a must.
Duties
- Learn to prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards and holding others accountable to the same.
- Manage food production processes, including portion control and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
- Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Know your product and keep safety at the forefront when faced with guests with allergies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques for the overall success of the team and restaurant.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role and proficient on the grill in high volume operations.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Knowledgable on food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and especially weekends. Certified is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner and this position will be scheduled during peak days/hours.
- A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with menu planning and development perfered but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team both front of the house and back of the house.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
