Job Overview
CBB is seeking dedicated and skilled Culinary supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, passion for food, commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality and has been in a leadership role in the past. Mentoring and holding others accountabile in a positive way is a must. Eagerly takes full ownership and is committed to growing themselves and our restaurant is a must.

Duties

  • Learn to prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards and holding others accountable to the same.
  • Manage food production processes, including portion control and presentation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
  • Uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Know your product and keep safety at the forefront when faced with guests with allergies.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques for the overall success of the team and restaurant.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role and proficient on the grill in high volume operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Knowledgable on food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and especially weekends. Certified is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner and this position will be scheduled during peak days/hours.
  • A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with menu planning and development perfered but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team both front of the house and back of the house.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
