Database Specialist (EDM)
Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is seeking an experienced Database Specialist to support our fast-paced domestic and international multi-company organization. As a Database Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining the database for all cards collectibles. This includes the research, identification, and editing of different collectible card types (Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, etc.).
What will help you succeed in this role:
- You are highly proficient with Excel and possess baseline familiarity with data manipulation
- You possess good knowledge of card game types (trading, sports, non-sports), including parallels, variants, etc.
- You are a team player who collaborates well with others
- You are open to receive feedback and can follow instruction well
- You are able to work independently with little direction
Other key competencies for this role:
- Decision Making - able to accurately identify card information by game type and add to database using existing format
- Initiative - uses all available resources (online and peers) to research new game types before creating new entries in the database
- Reliability - consistently manages workload based on priority and maintains consistency with how card data is updated
- Thoroughness – able to identify and correct errant data
