What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Administrator position at CFD Research Corporation?
CFD Research is looking for a skilled Contracts Administrator. This candidate will:
• Work various tasks during the entire life-cycle of contract administration, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, compliance, reporting, and delivery.
• Prepare non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, generate purchase orders and service agreements.
• Maintain schedules/documentation as well as support contract closeout.
• Candidate must have an understanding of all contract types to include T&M, FFP and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee including Grants.
• Ensures administrative compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Build collaboration and trust-based relationships with technical Division heads and staff at large.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Location: This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of a BS Degree in Contracts or equivalent
• 3 years experience contracting with DoD, NASA, NIH and other government agencies
• 3 years experience in contracts administration, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, reporting, closeout, purchase orders, and consulting agreements (drafting & execution)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ensures compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS
• Demonstrated ability with MS Office is required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Experience with Unanet is preferred
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Unanet is preferred.
