Role
PDW is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in our contracts and compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform contracts administration functions associated with proposals, contract award, and all phases of contract and subcontract administration to effectively manage contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
- Assists General Counsel in conducting research, investigating facts, preparing, and organizing various legal documents. Develop, negotiate, and administer Non-Disclosure, Teaming and Supplier Agreements. Coordinate with program management, finance, procurement, Marketing, engineering, and compliance.
- Provide professional interface with customers to build effective relationships and manage contracts. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations especially Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Requirements
- Experience in Federal Government contract administration/management or Paralegal.
- Prior government contracts and agreement management experience including Firm Fixed Price, Cost, OTAs. and CRADAs.
- Experience with export licensing and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Detail oriented and able to work in an onsite and virtual team environment.
- Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
ITAR Requirement
In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
