What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Control Specialist position at CFS Brands?
The QA document control specialist will be reporting to the Quality Specialist. This position will actively participant in creating, reviewing, and maintaining the documents for the Santa Fe quality department and assisting Engineering, Safety, Materials, Operations, and Maintenance with standardizing process. Essential responsibilities include an enthusiasm to learn all the company’s products, planning, development, and implementation of product quality and process improvement activities within the CFS Brands.

Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures
- Responsible for managing various internal documents while also ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity.
- Receive, review, edit, format, update, and manage various documents within an electronic document system.
- This is an administrative role that is heavily task-oriented toward document processing.
- Various activities may impact project timelines and the worker is responsible for adjusting and balancing his/her workload with the department and customers accordingly.
- Follow good documentation practices when creating, reviewing, revising, obsoleting, and archiving controlled documents per the Quality Manager.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Participates in team projects or on information teams that share perspective and direction regarding product quality related issues
- Interface closely with other cross-functional groups such as our Manufacturing, Engineering, Tech Services, Customer Service, Commercial, Sourcing, Sales and Quality
- Utilize basic statistical tools to analyze for trends or issues.
- Will serve as back up for QA tech on the floor to help support the plant.
