About the Role:
The HR Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient management of day-to-day HR operations. This position involves supporting the HR team in administering HR programs, policies, and procedures, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices. The HR Operations Specialist will focus on improving HR processes, enhancing employee experience, and driving operational excellence across HR functions.
Who should apply?
Someone with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum experience of 3 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration - Strong understanding of HR practices
Proficient in HR software (HRIS, payroll systems, etc.) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration: - Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations. - Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including documentation, induction, and exit interviews. - Handle HRMS (Human Resources Management System) data entry and ensure all employee information is up-to-date. - Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and salary adjustments.
Compliance & Reporting: - Ensure HR processes and practices are compliant with labor laws, company policies, and regulations. - Generate and maintain HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and other key metrics.
Employee Benefits Administration: - Coordinate employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, etc.), including enrollments, claims, and inquiries. - Support the administration of leave programs (sick, vacation, parental leave, etc.), ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies.
Employee Relations: - Provide support in addressing employee queries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. - Assist in maintaining a positive work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Training & Development Support: - Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and development programs. - Track employee participation and outcomes to support learning and development objectives.
Develop Rewards and Recognition model: - Bring the necessary changes and ways of getting fair votes for rewards - Timely manage the monthly/quarterly/yearly rewards and recognition program.
