Job Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist I, you will support the hiring process by sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for potential candidates. This role requires a strong foundation in communication, organizational skills, and a passion for helping find the right talent for our team.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Create job descriptions and appropriate pay ranges for the position
- Source candidates through various cost-effective channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with department managers
- Conduct virtual and in-person interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities
- Create and facilitate a consistently applied on-boarding process and “First 90-days” schedule for employees
- Facilitate and schedule background and drug-testing for conditionally accepted candidates.
- Ensure 30-60-90-day reviews are performed and documented by hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and external recruitment partners
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and human resources
- Distribution of apparel and PPE
- Creating employee badges
- Other duties, as assigned.
Salary Range: $19.23/hr – $24.04/hr
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills:
- Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, etc.)

Work Location: This position will be based at our headquarters in Norwich, NY and is not a remote position.
