What You Will Be Accountable For
- Develop work scopes, solicit bids, perform scope reviews, and negotiate subcontracts
- Serve as the main point of contact with clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive resolution of project issues
- Develop and maintain overall project schedules, collaborating with stakeholders to avoid delays
- Manage subcontractors professionally and ensure timely review/processing of all documentation including submittals and pay applications
- Prepare and maintain project reports including cost reports, schedule updates, and monthly progress summaries
- Facilitate RFI resolution between Owner and design team
- Oversee the change order management process and ensure financial tracking and accountability
- Manage the full spectrum of project financials and reporting
- Participate in proposal preparation, bid strategy, and new client development initiatives
- Enforce quality control plans and collaborate with design teams from initiation to closeout
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s in CM a plus)
- 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial or institutional construction
- Strong knowledge and experience in bidding, work scope development, cost reporting, and project scheduling
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with Procore and CMiC (preferred)
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit is a plus
