Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint using spray guns or other tools, ensuring an even coat and high-quality finish.
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth appearance.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs as necessary.
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as required during the painting process.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in buffing techniques and auto painting methods.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
