## Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential painting, remodeling, and restoration projects. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for enhancing spaces through paint and finishes, we want to hear from you.
## Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and trim using hand tools and sprayers
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as needed
- Utilize caulk, putty, or plaster to fill holes/cracks, to seal gaps, and ensure a smooth finish
- Work on residential painting projects including interior and exterior spaces
- Collaborate with carpenters and construction teams to achieve project goals
- Use power tools effectively to enhance painting efficiency
- Restore surfaces to their original condition through meticulous painting techniques
## Skills
- Proficiency in residential painting techniques and applications
- Experience with trim carpentry to enhance the overall finish of projects
- Ability to build, repair or replace structures as needed.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites following safety protocols
- Familiarity with masonry work to complement painting tasks
- Competency in using power tools for painting and surface preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results
