Champion is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team. The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead. This crew will primarily work within a three-hour region around St Cloud, FL. The intent is to have you in your home and your own bed every night possible.

- Set (block and level) Manufactured Housing Units (HUD code homes both single and double-wide).
- Structurally fasten the units.
- Complete the roof closure and shingling.
- Close up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams to provide a weather-tight product.
- Complete interior trim out, finish work, install siding, and skirting.
- Maintain company tools and materials. Inform management of any issues that arise.
- Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for the full duration of the workday
- Must have clear vision at both close and distant ranges
- Ability to hear clearly
- Must be willing to travel, with occasional (5-15%) overnight stays
- Must be willing to work outside in all four seasons
- Prior home Set experience is necessary
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings
- Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Understand and execute instructions, work safety policies, and procedures
- Must be available to work Monday through Saturday
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
